Elena is a Boston-based actor, writer, and director. They pride themself in creating a safe space for actors to play. Being an actor themselves, they know that storytelling is a collaborative process and that everyone, cast or crew, plays a valuable role in shaping a story. Elena graduated from Boston University with a Theatre Arts Degree and a Deaf Studies Minor. Their work as an ASL translation assistant has made them comfortable in multilingual rehearsal spaces. ​

As a director, Elena prides themself in their ability to remain calm under pressure, is highly adaptable, and values providing feedback rooted in empathy. They are not afraid to ask hard questions when they don't have the answers. You can check out Elena's directing work here.
